i have been very negligent with updating my blog these days. sensya na.

it's not easy being in a new place with no one to rely on but yourself. as you can see, i have no immediate relatives here in the US. all i've got are my college friends, colleagues and of course, G. it may seem like a good thing to be here but then again it is also a struggle. nobody ever said it's gonna be easy anyway. :)

uhhmmm, well just for the sake of updating this blog, let me reveal that i am currently in South Carolina. i'm here for more than a week already.

i left NYC last week with a really heavy heart [i'll talk about this some other time when i finally find it in my heart to forgive and let go, but as of now i will keep my mouth shut] and i don't have any intentions of returning or visiting NY again for the next couple of months. if you've heard of Alicia Keys' version of Empire State of Mind (Part II), i can definitely vouch for its truth! kung alam n'yo lang...

on the lighter side, G and I watched The Karate Kid last Saturday night and enjoyed it so much. ironically, it was J.E.R. who highly recommended the movie to me [if there is one thing that i trust about JER, it is his choice for great movies. promise!] so i asked G to watch it instead of Shrek 3. and would you believe that G and I were even fussing inside his truck a few minutes before we went inside the theater... as in hindi kami nag-uusap sa loob ng sinehan BUT Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith were just so entertaining that we found ourselves laughing and holding each other's hands while watching. naglaho lahat ng inis namin sa isa't isa becoz of Karate Kid. G even said that I am just like the Kid, merong "attitude". lolz.

And since I mentioned about G and I fussing about something, I made a really painful mistake of throwing my engagement ring one time that i knocked off one of the diamonds from one side. just imagine my shock when i picked up the ring from the table with one diamond missing. and just imagine G's disappointment when i told him that one of the diamonds got knocked off. :(

yup, G purchased a warranty for my ring but he doesn't want to go to Kay's and have it replaced/fixed becoz he wants the ring to stay that way (with one diamond knocked out) as a MAJOR REMINDER for me to NEVER lose my temper that easily ever again over something really petty. he said if i want it fixed, i should bring it to Kay Jeweler's myself and not bug him about it. waaaaaa... ayan kasi...
